Good location and friendly staff

Clean bedding and friendly staff make it a decent stay. Noise from the pub can be disturbing late at night.

A lovely old building with friendly staff offers a great price for short stays, but it falls short due to serious cleanliness issues like bedbugs. The room was basic, with the shower lacking consistent pressure and plagued by loud pub noise until the early morning. It’s a shame because the location is central and convenient, but I felt unsafe with a bar right below and no security measures in place.

we had a lovely romantic getaway in ryde and this place was a pleasant surprise. the staff were friendly and made us feel at home, and the location near cafes and shops was incredibly convenient. the lively bar atmosphere added to our overall experience, making it enjoyable.

Rooms are clean and well-maintained with comfy beds. Great fun atmosphere at the bar, perfect for a lively night out!

The rooms were spacious and perfect for our large family. We enjoyed visiting Dinosaur Isle, where the kids were thrilled to learn about dinosaurs and fossil hunting. It was lovely having my dad with us to share these moments.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities on-site.

I had an absolute blast! The atmosphere at the pub was electric, with live sports and friendly locals, making every moment feel vibrant. And let's not forget the location, just five minutes from the beach, perfect for sun chasers like me!

The rooms come with new flooring and updated decor, giving a refreshing touch for a budget spot. Breakfast options include a classic English spread and Italian Panini. A solid selection of beers on tap.

The corridors have a musty smell, and carpets need attention, reminiscent of a wet dog. Noise from the pub, especially on weekends, can be disruptive, with music and conversations carrying late into the night. the rooms lack basic amenities like a sink plug and sufficient bins, making it awkward for simple tasks.

the staff were really nice and welcoming, made me feel at home. the location is great, super close to the beach and restaurants. the room was clean, comfy bed and I had a good shower. had fun watching sports in the pub downstairs, loads of screens! overall a chill stay for a night.

but the noise from the pub was way too loud at night, couldn't sleep well. also, the shower had issues with hot water, it was either freezing or burning.

The location is great with easy access to local attractions. The standard double room had a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Basic amenities included a tea/coffee maker and towels. Good heating and a comfortable shower made things cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful, contributing to a warm atmosphere.

Just a perfect match for a flying visit in Ryde with very good value for money. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which was a bonus. Make sure to bring earplugs if you're staying on the weekend.

Not the best experience

Had a rough night with too much noise from the pub. The staff were friendly, but we felt uneasy with the lack of security between us and the bar. The room was super basic—one pillow each and a temperamental shower. At least the bar area was nice to chill in after a long walk.
